We provide the Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET), formerly called PTLLS,  by either our 5-day classroom based course, our distance/on-line learning programme or for group bookings, we offer an ‘in-house’ course delivery using your own suitable training facilities.

By way of some background, the Award in Education and Training (AET) qualification was introduced in late 2013 as a replacement for the popular Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS) course. The qualification now has a revised set of standards that better reflects the requirements of a teaching role within in the FE and Skills Sector.

The Award in Education and Training is an introductory qualification that aims to create an understanding of the key principles and practices associated with the planning, preparation and delivery of teaching sessions and regardless of the educational setting.

The AET qualification provides a progression route to the higher Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training (CET), formerly known as CTLLS.
