Level 4 Certificate in the Leading Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (IQA) is a qualification in the Further Education (FE) sector, designed for those who are required to carry out the internal quality assurance of assessment.

The qualification consists of 3 units:

Understand the Principles and Practices of Internally Assuring the Quality of Assessment (covered by RPL from the L4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice.)
Internally Assure the Quality of Assessment (covered by RPL from the L4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice.)
Plan, Allocate and Monitor Work in Own Area of Responsibility (New Learning)

Course Requirements

The learner must already hold the Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practices
If this qualification is over 2 years old, we will need supporting evidence of your IQA experience since achieving the qualification.
They must also have the opportunity to research existing organisational assessment, quality assurance policies, procedures, and practice.
Maths and English at Level 2 is desirable.
