If you have a passion for knowledge or skills that you possess, teaching or training can be a great way for you to share your enthusiasm and inspire others. As a teacher or trainer, you also hold a position of responsibility where you can influence how your learners feel about themselves. It gives you insight into the potential of others that they may not even realise they have.
In September, our trainer, Bernie, delivered a full day of training to around 30 staff at Make UK in Birmingham, one of our valued customers. They provided us with a brief and we developed a series of sessions, bespoke to their needs, that was delivered as part of their staff development programme. The group consisted of around 30 staff, varying in experience; some of which were classroom based, others were primarily workshop based.
